Photography Course
Photography is more than simply taking pictures; it is a powerful way to tell stories, capture moments, and express creativity. This 20-week photography course is designed to guide learners through the fundamental and advanced principles of photography, helping them develop both technical skills and a creative eye.
Think of the course as five phases:
1, Foundations (Weeks 1–5) – Understanding the Camera
2, Seeing Like a Photographer (Weeks 6–9)– Composition & Light
3, Landscape Photography (Weeks 10–12) – Working with Nature and Environment
4, Portraits & Lighting (Weeks 13–19) – People Photography
5, Portfolio & Showcase (Week 20) – Reflection and Presentation
On completion of the full 20-week course, participants will be offered a complimentary trip along the North Coast 500 (NC500).
This experience provides the perfect opportunity to put your newly developed photography skills into practice while capturing some of Scotland’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Upon successful completion of the photography course, you will be offered an exciting opportunity to take part in a four-day guided tour of the world-famous NC500 (North Coast 500). This exclusive experience is designed to give you the chance to put your newly developed photography skills into practice while exploring some of the most breathtaking landscapes Scotland has to offer.
Throughout the tour, you will visit a variety of stunning locations, from dramatic coastal cliffs and pristine beaches to rugged mountains and picturesque villages. With guidance and support along the way, you’ll be able to refine your technique, experiment with different styles, and capture truly memorable images in a real-world setting.
Please note that eligibility for this tour is dependent on full completion of the 20-week photography course. This ensures that all participants have the necessary skills and confidence to make the most of this unique and rewarding experience.
